CardioCare
x Carmel Maraton

CardioCare is proud to partner with Bolt for the Heart and the Carmel Marathon as part of the nation’s first official Rescue Ready Race™ marathon initiative. This groundbreaking safety model is designed to strengthen emergency response capabilities during endurance events through trained responders, strategic AED placement, and rapid emergency coordination. The Carmel Marathon will also become the first marathon in the country to have an AED placed at every single mile marker along the course.
We are currently looking for CPR certified volunteers to serve as trained responders stationed throughout the marathon route. Volunteers will help monitor runners, provide immediate emergency response if needed, and play a direct role in helping protect athletes, spectators, and the Carmel community during race weekend. Spots are filling quickly, and selected volunteers will also receive a free registration to participate in the Bolt for the Heart race.
This initiative is about more than race safety, it is about building a community that is prepared to act when every second matters. Through partnerships with Bolt for the Heart, ZOLL Medical Corporation, and the Carmel Marathon, CardioCare is helping support a new standard for emergency preparedness that has the potential to save lives not only in Carmel, but eventually at endurance events across the nation.
Join us in becoming part of a movement focused on preparedness, rapid response, and making our community safer for everyone.
