Our Team

CardioCare was founded by Inayat Arora and Sandra Botros when they were juniors at Carmel High School with the goal of making heart health education more accessible, engaging, and community-focused. What began as a local initiative has grown into a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular disease prevention through educational events, outreach programs, fundraising initiatives, and partnerships with healthcare professionals and organizations.

Today, both founders continue to lead CardioCare while studying at Indiana University Indianapolis. Inayat is part of the direct medical BS/MD program leading to admission into the Indiana University School of Medicine, where she is pursuing her passion for cardiology and cardiovascular medicine. Sandra is a Bepko Scholar in the Honors College and is focused on her path toward dentistry and community healthcare leadership.

Together, they are committed to expanding CardioCare’s impact by creating meaningful opportunities for education, advocacy, and service. Through community events, CPR awareness initiatives, healthcare partnerships, and outreach in underserved areas, CardioCare aims to inspire people of all ages to take a more active role in their heart health and overall well-being.
